We connect architects, engineers, construction companies and frame manufacturers to personalized glass solutions.

Founded in 1995, in Mogi das Cruzes-SP, PKO Vidros began its activities importing palm oil-based products. The acronym PKO (Palm Kernel Oil), which means Palm Oil Extract, refers to the first product imported by the company. At the time, PKO imported this extract from Asia and sold it to several companies, including the multinational Colgate-Palmolive.

Aware of market needs, the company noticed new business opportunities in the glass market, starting to invest in machinery.

As a result, in 1998, work began on the distribution of flat glass, having its first processing machine in 2002. In 2005, it acquired a tempering furnace.

With this vision of the future and constant growth, PKO Vidros has established itself as a reference industry in glass processing. Furthermore, PKO is able to develop tailor-made solutions that meet the most diverse types of project demands.

Our Infrastructure

  • PKO Vidros has a large and modern infrastructure of approximately 20,000 m² in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo. This privileged and strategic location ensures efficient distribution of products throughout Brazil. In a movement of constant growth, PKO Vidros has also invested in innovation and the development of new products, including those with high added value, such as PKO Privacy Glass® Polarized Glass, a product that uses a technology that transforms white glass translucent to colorless, just by pressing a button. With the acquisition of new technologies and the constant training of employees, PKO is increasingly consolidating itself as the main reference in the glass sector in the country. Proof of this was in 2017, when we made an investment in the acquisition of the second fully automated lamination line, increasing our production capacity by three times, and in 2019, we acquired the common and laminated jumbo cutting line. We currently have bilateral equipment, automated cutting tables, machining center, tempering oven, two complete lamination lines, in addition to the most modern technology aimed at manufacturing insulated glass.

  • Distribution

PKO ensures fast and safe deliveries with its efficient distribution structure. By maintaining strict stock control and a careful approach to packaging, we guarantee the integrity and quality of products with each delivery. With our own carrier, we offer personalized logistics services to meet specific project demands and deadlines.

  • Processing

The Processing Unit is equipped to ensure greater productivity and the best results in the final product. In addition to all the investment in modern and efficient machines, we promote the constant training of all our employees.

The certificate is granted by IFBQ (Instituto Falcão Bauer da Qualidade), a Brazilian certification body, accredited by CGCRE of INMETRO in the area of Products and Management Systems and in 2011, granted PKO the seal that guarantees the quality of Tempered Glass in thicknesses 4, 6, 8 and 10mm. The institution aims to strengthen national companies.
