Struturá® Tempered-Laminated Glass

It joins layers of glass with PVB, undergoing tempering for additional resistance. Provides security by retaining fragments in case of breakage, with greater mechanical resistance.

STRUTURÁ® tempered-laminated glass is the lamination of two or more pieces of tempered glass. The set brings together the qualities of two products considered safety, with essential characteristics for various types of application.

Benefits of Struturá® Tempered-Laminated Glass

  • Reduction of the risk of accidents caused by breakage, due to its characteristic of keeping glass fragments attached to the PVB;
  • Increased property security, as by keeping the glass fragments attached to the PVB, the gaps are prevented from being breached;
  • Blocks up to 99.6% of ultraviolet radiation, which is most responsible for the aging of furniture, curtains, floors, among others, in addition to being harmful to human skin;
  • Wide variety of colors, a factor that depends on the combinations between the different types of glass and the different colors of the PVB film.
  • Greater acoustic insulation compared to common glass, which can be maximized with the use of acoustic PVB, helping to dampen the sound vibrations of the glass.
  • Five times more resistant than common laminated glass of the same thickness.
  • As it is more resistant, it can be applied free-standing with a minimum of support profiles, in addition to being possible to fix it using hardware.
  • It is more resistant to temperature variations.

Tempered-Laminated Glass with SentryGlas® Film

It can be applied with SentryGlas® film, replacing PVB, enhancing the product's safety level, as this product is 100 times more rigid than common PVB. This also makes it possible, in many cases, to reduce the thickness of the glass, maintaining the same level of resistance of the piece.
